The Focus Of Our Message. Matthew 10:34. Christian Modern Art by mark lawrence art

Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. Matthew 10:34

This painting was inspired by the moving devotions penned and published by Oswald Chambers in his powerful devotional book, My Utmost for His Highest.

When God sends bible scripture to us it is never by accident. In Isaiah 55:11, God says that wherever He sends His word it never returns empty. It always achieves the special purpose for which it was sent. Prayerfully consider the message above. Humbly seek and submit to the Living God whose Spirit has determined to personally speak to you today.

VerseVisions™ is a Christian art ministry whose purpose is to share the love and message of Jesus Christ to all people through art and scriptural words of encouragement. VerseVisions™ Christian themed paintings are inspired by the Holy Spirit through bible verses.

These original works of sacred bible verse inspired art are the passion of artist Mark Lawrence. His desire is to share the love, hope, and eternal life that are available to everyone who repent and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Enjoy this art, but more importantly; seek God’s determined purpose for sending you this message today.

About mark lawrence

I believe in art. I believe its beauty and power can enrich and transform lives. I also believe that art is capable of engaging and encouraging the inner spirit. I am inspired by my faith in God, bright colors and a desire to encourage people who perchance happen to cross my path. I’ve been an artist since I can remember, although I’ve never been formally trained as one. My art is created using my imagination, a Wacom tablet and the lively pixels of my home computer. I still paint with watercolors occasionally, but the PC is much easier to clean up afterwards. Everyone is so incredibly busy these days and I am thankful to you for taking time to stop and look at my work. Even if you don’t find something that you’d like to purchase, I hope that something you see here will brighten and bless your day. And if you purchase one of my works? Well, I thank you for your incredibly GREAT taste in fine art, and for the encouragement that your support brings to me and my family.
